Oil & gas mining produces an absurd amount of toxic wastewater including 2 trillion+ litres from the Canadian oil sands.The current solution is to store the waste in artificial tailings ponds to fester and leak into the environment. No solution exists to remediate economically and at scale.Our net-zero microalgae-based solution provides a low-cost and scalable method to immediately begin capturing the 7Mt+ annual emissions produced by tailings ponds.Sustainable biomass transforms waste into value and liabilities into assets.Remediated water is immediately available for operational reuse on site or environmental release. Carbon capture aside, biomass can be used for bioplastics or further processed into biocrude and renewable natural gas.Biocrude can be even further processed into products including sustainable aviation fuel or renewable fertilizer.
